Sliding Patio Doors
This modern patio door style takes up very little space in your home, making this entry system ideal for rooms with lots of furniture, or if the outside area of your home features a garden or landscaping. Made from high-quality vinyl, our patio door frames are reinforced with steel for increased strength and durability. Vinyl doors keep the heat out in the summer and prevent heat from escaping in the winter. This is a natural property of vinyl—it’s an insulator that helps to maintain your home’s temperature. A durable option, Centennial’s vinyl patio sliding doors don’t require rubbing or waxing, have sound-deadening properties, and have a premium weather seal. They are also corrosion and rot-free and will not pit or blister with normal use, making them very easy to maintain.

We always wanted to put patio doors in our dining room, and finally we have them thanks to Centennial. The extra light in our home is unbelievable, and they have made a huge difference in the amount of heat that would come through our old window. Now we can enjoy the sunshine without the heat seeping in through the window. Our front bay window was also replaced, and it has drastically reduced noise from the busy street we live on. The airflow from our new bay window and the patio doors has improved so much that we can have them both open, with no need for the air conditioner to be on! We are confident that we made the best choice investing in our windows with Centennial. The windows are beautiful, solid, and very easy to clean. Your sales representative and installers were very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We are extremely happy with our purchase and we will absolutely be return customers and will recommend Centennial to our family and friends.Angela & Ed London, ON
FAQs
Are sliding patio doors energy efficient?
Sliding patio doors are beautiful, easy to operate, and can create a feeling of openness in a home’s living space. However, older models that are not energy efficient or that were installed improperly can be a significant source of heat loss. When choosing a new sliding patio door, look for models that are energy efficient and ensure the people performing the installation are experienced professionals. Remember—even the highest-rated product will underperform unless it is installed properly.
How do I clean vinyl sliding patio doors?
Starting on the inside of the home, spray one glass surface at a time with glass cleaner and wipe dry. Repeat with the other glass surface. Move to the outside of the home and clean both glass surfaces. Vinyl surfaces can be cleaned using mild dish soap. Be sure to rinse thoroughly with water to remove all residue and avoid a cloudy appearance. To clean the tracks, remove dust and debris with a vacuum cleaner. For hard-to-remove dirt and stains, apply a mild, all-purpose cleaner with a cloth or toothbrush and rinse clean. Screens can be easily cleaned using the furniture attachment of your vacuum cleaner. Be careful and gentle to avoid damage; do not apply pressure.
Where should I install patio sliding doors in my home?
Sliding patio doors are the perfect addition to living spaces that open to your backyard. If you’re looking to let natural light into your home and have a door that is easy to operate, these are a great choice. As an added customization, enjoy the versatility of mini-blinds between the glass; keep them fully open for maximum daylight, partially closed as the sun goes down, or completely closed for added privacy at night.
